Indianapolis Monument Circle
Worlds Tallest Christmas

Although the World's tallest Christmas tree in not actually a tree at all, every
year Indianapolis Monument Circle (Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial)
still draws 10s of thousands from near and far to view its sheer grandeur.
When the Indy Colts or the Indy Pacers are playing nearby
this area really rocks.
There is even a special ceremony covered by radio and TV. The festivities
include
local celebrities and talent. Including Singing, Dancing &
Christmas Caroling all in advance of the finale where the
Christmas Tree Lights are officially turned to announce the official beginning
of the Christmas Season. This usually occurs on the day following Thanksgiving.
