Concerts & Festivals

JCP has many offering for those who enjoy concerts and festival. Most of these happenings
are during the Spring through Fall months. The concerts are varied and are intended to
appeal to all types of music lovers. Country Bands, Rock & Roll, Blues --- there
are many genres to select from. JCP had the
50's & 60's Car Show  and the Heartnut Festival Concerts
in late Summer. Many enjoyed them and the 4th of July Festival this year.
They brought their blankets, picnic baskets, lawn chairs located spot to watch everything
and enjoyed a peaceful, safe friend and family day.
For those who decided to purchase food and drinks they were not
disappointed as many vendors such as Rooster's* delivered delicacy's such as
Rib Eye Steak Sandwiches, Strawberry Short Cake & Sundays, Ice Cream on a Stick, Carmel Apples,
Lemonade Shake-ups, Hamburgers, Soft Drinks, Popcorn, ...... if you
had a spot in you stomach that needed a particular treat it
was probably there to satisfy your crave.

*Roosters is located on the property of the Johnson County Horse Park
and is open daily during the Spring-Fall months.
